This is from one of mike's last e-mails to me in December
after reviewing the current web site layout.

My name is Paul Croteau. I'm a computer geek by day and a husband, father and musician the rest of the time. My undergraduate degree is in Jazz Studies from North Texas State University (now called the University of North Texas) and have an MBA from Texas A&M University.  I play sax, EWI and piano, and I've worked in the I/T industry for about 15 years now.

This page is the product of my appreciation for Mike's music. While in graduate school at Texas A&M, way back in 1995, I created a web page to learn how to write HTML. I was shocked at the lack of saxophone related material on the Web, so I jumped into action using Mike as my subject matter. No less than a week after I published the page, a friend of Mike's in Florida saw it and called him. Mike then contacted me offering his assistance. I thought it was a joke, but when he called, I knew it was him. The rest is history.
